Quilt Finishes

When I was reminded this week in an email that my quilting group will be starting up again this month, I realized that I had intended to post some pictures of the some of the finishes that members of the group made last year. Better late than never....

Bonnie challenged the group to make Scrappy Shoofly blocks in pinks. She made 2 donation quilts out of our blocks, and here are the pieced tops:

Anne's block challenge was a Jack in the Box, and she made one really big quilt out of these. I like the extra squares she added into the sashing between the blocks:

Audrey had us make paper pieced bunnies and here's her final arrangement of the blocks:

And Brenda's quilt-as-you-go Ticker Tape blocks were a lot of fun to make, and super easy for her to stitch together into a finished quilt:

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that didn't finish a quilt top with my blocks before the end of the year. Here's hoping this year will be a year of more finishes! Tomorrow I'll post some of the finishes that were not part of our monthly challenges.

  1. I love all the beautiful quilts! I really should finish the few I've started....someday :)

    I'll be watching for more!

  2. I know what you mean, Karleigh Jae! I wish I could show pictures that I actually finished something, but hopefully I will over the next year!
