A few more gifts
I made these books for my family members, secretly when they were out of the house. The orange beaded fabric softcover journal is for my youngest, C, and you can guess her current favourite colour! The purple one is for my daughter, S, who painted her room purple and was the recipient of the purple quilt. The book used was The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott, and I suspect it was library bound. It is filled with random scrappy and purple papers. Both my daughters abide by the philosophy that you can never have too many journals! The Twelve Ways to Build a Vocabulary was for my dh whose creative outlet is music: he is honing his skills as a singer-songwriter in his rare spare moments and needed a place for word play.
