More Black and White Blocks
Despite being under the weather for the past 2 weeks (and still sniffling!), I finished my black and white challenge blocks for my quilting group. I really like how the addition of a single colour with all black and white fabrics looks just fabulous!
I tried to stick to relatively easy blocks as you saw in my earlier post, so I could soon return to some other unfinished projects:
1. Asterisk block, made using this tutorial on the Selvage Blog.
2 & 3. Disappearing Nine Patch, as shown in my previous post.
4 & 5. Twist & Turn Disappearing Nine Patch, found on this tutorial. This block adds one more step after the 9-patch block is cut up to make pinwheels. One nine patch block gives you two pinwheel blocks in the end.
6. Just a simple Log Cabin block.
What are you working on this week?
