Grateful
We're in the middle of another bitterly cold stretch of winter. It seems like we only get a reprieve from the cold for a few hours before the temperature drops dramatically again. The windchill is -39°C as I write this. It is times like this that I am grateful for small blessings.
Like this sight out my front window:
While Inukshuks are normally made from stone, my creative neighbours made good use of the snow chunks cleared off their driveway to build this one.
And having lots of opportunities for hot tea and good books:
Stay warm friends: put on the kettle and curl up with a good book!

Brrr! It's been cool here, but not That cool! We have had snow further north, but only lots (& lots!) if rain here. There was a pretty spectacular hail & thunder storm on Saturday afternoon. The hailstones were pretty big and they settled on our skylight windows & looked like snow. But they were soon gone.
ReplyDeletePuddles are the order of the day / week here!
Hi Lizzie! Right now I would rather be outside with the hail and thunder than stuck inside with this bitter cold. These are the days we ask "why do we live here?" Stay dry!
