Me Made March: Week 2
During the month of March, I'm challenging myself to wear something handmade or thrifted each day. I'm posting each week how I did. You can see how I did last week here. The whole idea is to connect with the clothing and accessories you choose to wear, making a conscious decision to support local designers and artists of all kinds.
Here's how I did this week:
March 5:Infinity scarf, handmade from some fabric I bought at a garage sale
6: I dug into the dark recesses of my closet to find this old fooler shirt that I made from a top that was getting too short in the sleeves, paired with a thrifted striped shirt. I'm also wearing a fair trade necklace from Ten Thousand Villages
7: Silver necklace pendant handmade by my daughter S
8: Wire wrapped ring handmade by me
9: Staying cozy at the quilting retreat in my Hand knit and felted slippers
10: My favourite thrifted grey sweater
11: Hand carved walnut pendant made by Mr. Prairie

I really love that March 5 scarf!!! Super cozy and very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin! It's more of a silky satiny type fabric than cozy, but I do like the look, and so easy to make.
