Quilt Baby Arrival!

After much anticipation, our quilt group has a new baby! Actually, it's Stephanie's baby, but we've all been anticipating it with much excitement! Congratulations on the new addition, Stephanie and family!

Here's the quilt our group made for the new baby:

We were each assigned different colours to appliqué with any technique we wanted, on a black and white background fabric. What a fun rainbow quilt!

These are the blocks I made:

I fused my words onto the fabric with Steam-A-Seam and then machine blanket stitched around them.

I'm looking forward to meeting this new baby and seeing her all wrapped up in her new quilt! She has been the inspiration behind our group's baby quilts theme for the year.
