More Clean Up
You may have noticed that I try to not throw anything away--it's both being frugal and trying to be kind to this earth. Fabric scraps are no exception to this rule. I had a big plastic bin under my sewing table that I threw any small scraps into. With the addition of a pile of scraps from a friend, it looked like this:
Very messy and difficult to sort through. I organized them all into colour groups (it wasn't as daunting as I thought it would be) and they now look like this:
Not the greatest photo, but you get the idea. Tomorrow I'll show you what I've been using these for!

I feel inspired!! My fabric stash might be next. I have a ticker tape quilt in my heart for all my scraps.

ReplyDeleteTicker tape quilts are a fun way to use up scraps--I hope you do make one Erin! And post pics of course...
ReplyDeleteYes, Ruth, I'd really like a month off just to sort and organize and purge some stuff...I think that's how long it would take me to go through all my stuff!
