Weekend Worktable or Where Have I Been?

I have been making a deliberate attempt to slow down from the hustle and bustle of the season a little. For me that means having a little fun with camera special effects, shopping online, thinking handmade gifts (made by myself or others on Etsy), staying away from malls, helping my kids make a few gifts, and scheduling less events this month. I'm not feeling as tightly wound as I sometimes get, and am able to enjoy the moments of anticipation much more.

My worktable still has a few unfinished Christmas gifts, but I don't want to ruin any surprises so I can't show you here what we've been up to.
