In My Backyard

While having breakfast with my girls this morning, we saw an unusual sight out our window. As you can see from the surrounding rooftops, we live in a city, but we are close to both a creek and river, and a golf course where the deer roam freely. Our unfenced yard seems to be one of their favoured routes. We know they pass through often as we see their tracks in our garden, but usually they move through during the night and we don't see them. This buck was sighted a few days ago as well, and today he seemed to be having a hard time finding his way to where he wanted to go, as he went back and forth through our yard a couple of times before disappearing.
