Map Envelopes
My bone folder has been very busy lately, helping me create more sets of map envelopes from a vintage atlas. My parents save atlases for me at the charity thrift shops they volunteer at. Seems nobody else wants to buy them! These atlas pages are the nicest I've ever worked with, and have a lovely satiny smooth finish. The quality was so evident as I was scoring and folding each one.
There are several sets listed in my Etsy shop, plus an additional Oh Canada set listed in the TransCanada Team shop.
I've also come up with a new idea for the wrappers I use to bundle the envelope sets together. Using the index pages from the atlas, I've printed my logo over the text. Now they are 100% recycled. What do you think?

These are beautiful! (^_^) I really love how you've bound them together with the index pages - it looks fantastic & you're not wasting a thing! Awesome idea =)

I really LIKE the atlas wraps! Very creative and green. Hmmm. You always get my mind going! I would ask more for these, but that's just me. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the wrappers. That's the way to use it all up! And, btw, Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous envelopes! I want to make some of my own. And I think your wrappers are very clever and resourceful! Excellent work!
