Thankful for Frost
We have had unseasonably warm weather here in Winnipeg lately. A foggy night yesterday contributed to a beautiful frosty day today. I was in awe as I walked to work this morning and enjoyed the crystal beauty of the hoarfrost on the trees. I do not normally have a camera with me, but today I needed it for some committee work, so I was able to pause to get a few pictures on my way. My camera did not do justice to the beauty, but here are two shots from my way to work:
...and on my way home. The sun had come out for the afternoon and melted some of the frost. It looked like white raindrops as the frost fell off the trees on the sunny side this afternoon.
Where have you found beauty in your day today?
