Gratitude
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!
We're just back from a weekend in the country, and I think this is the first Thanksgiving that I can remember where it SNOWED! Despite the snow, there is still much to be thankful for:
-feeling blessed to have all our needs met for food, warmth, shelter
-the opportunity to get away from it all, no phone or internet
-being with family
-listening to live music created by family members
-kids overjoyed with the snow, building the first (small) Snowman of the year
-fresh air, good health, the open countryside
-a little craziness now and then
-opportunities for creative pursuits
-knowing that the snow will likely melt soon, and we'll have more seasonal weather again
I hope that you too have much to be thankful for. Thank you for visiting today!

Glad your time was spent with family. We had no snow but even though we were supposed to have rain, none came.
