New Books!

Early in the summer, I got together with friends Charlotte and Michelle to have a fun day making books. Charlotte led us through a simple but elegant hardcover single signature binding. This book can be used as a photo album, scrapbook, guest book, or journal.


These are all of the books we made that day.

For the pages, we used the most beautiful handmade papers from Botanical Paperworks, made right here in Winnipeg. I dream of making handmade papers as gorgeous as these some day!



My books sat unfinished for quite some time, while I enjoyed the blessings of summer. Now these two books are finished, and ready to be listed in my Etsy shop! I used wooden beads from RanaMuck's shop on Etsy and they add a really nice touch.



I definitely plan on making more of these!



And this is one my daughter made for a friend's birthday....
