Custom Journal

I've been busy making Christmas cards and trying to finish an Advent Quilt/Calendar which I'll post about soon. This week I also made a custom journal for a friend to give as a gift. The covers are made from reclaimed bookboard covered with vintage atlas pages of the Carribean, and the journal is a little larger than my usual travel journals to accomodate a few pockets to fit 4x6 postcards. The pages are repurposed printer's layout paper with light blue layout lines on one side.

  1. I've been admiring it over and over again. It's lovely and has those great pockets. Thanks for making it so promptly. Yesterday I bought some photo splits and photo corners to include with it, so they can put stuff in it as they go. And a note to the great blogosphere: buy Prairie's stuff! you won't be disappointed.
