Garden delights
The lilies are so beautiful this time of year. We have wonderful summers here in Manitoba, just too short. Here are a few shots from this morning:
The kids will be thrilled tomorrow when they return home from camp and find a new tree swing in the yard. My father built a swinging garden bench with a wooden base for me many years ago. The wood in the base became too weathered and rotten and was ready to collapse, but the bench part was salvageable. So my husband decided to hang it from our oak tree in the front yard. What a great idea!
