Here are a few more books I've made using my paste papers for the endpapers. I'm really liking how these are turning out, and must give myself a day sometime soon just to play with more colour combinations.
Ha, Ruth! You'd probably have a lot of fun with it! It's basically the adult version of finger painting, and you can use the papers for any of your paper projects.
Lovely! I like the first one best (fun how we all have different favourites!). I must try paste papers - maybe this spring or summer, out in the garden (& hang them on the washing line to dry!!) I saw some of the other photos of these books (on Facebook I think...) so I know how lovely they are!
Thanks Lizzie! This first is actually my favourite too--it's so dramatic. You should try it out--it's fun to do with a group or a few creative friends. There are lots of recipes available online.
I'm so glad you've stopped by! I'd love to hear your response, so please add your comments here! I try to respond to all comments--some by email and some here on the blog.
I LOVE that third one!
ReplyDeleteThank you Alissa! That one was made with a blow dryer diffuser to draw circles on the page. A very fun tool to use!
DeleteHI Laura, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are magnificent. I liked more the second one.
Congratulations and thanks again!
Thank you Lucia! It's fun to play with unlikely colour combinations and see what happens.
Deletevery pretty ! I have no clue what paste paper is, I probably missed that somehwere but I love how they look
