More Handmade Goodness for the Tree
A few more handmade ornaments hanging on our tree....
My daughter, C, who is 9, loves Perler beads and makes little ornaments for all occasions. I think this blue snowflake is actually very pretty.
We have a tradition of giving our girls ornaments each year in their stockings. A few years ago I made this little star book ornament with metallic paper pages and japanese paper covers. It is about 1-1/2" square when closed.
Here are a couple of more recent creations. I used old slide mounts and photos from our childhood (shown here of myself and my dh). Thin sheets of mica protect the photos in the ornaments.
